Summer Reading Challenge
Volunteers

Do you have a teenager looking for something worthwhile to do during the summer holidays? We are looking for young people to help with the Summer Reading Challenge, to encourage younger children in their reading journey by discussing book choices, sharing rewards and supporting activities in their library.
Volunteers gain confidence and improve their communications skills as well as work experience and new skills. Their volunteering hours can count towards the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
